GENDA (“we”, “the app”) is a moto ride-hailing service in Rwanda. This policy explains what we collect and why.

Information we collect

• Account: name, phone number, optional email, password (stored hashed).
• Location: pickup, drop-off, and live GPS while a trip is active or a rider is online, so we can match nearby motors and show the map.
• Rider documents: National ID, license, plate, and photos you upload for admin verification.
• Payments: subscription payment proof images for admin review. Trip fares are paid in cash to the rider; GENDA does not process card payments.
• Usage: trip history, ratings, support messages, and device login tokens.

How we use it

• Create and secure your account
• Match passengers with nearby verified riders
• Show live trip tracking
• Verify riders and confirm monthly subscriptions
• Improve safety (SOS / complaints) and customer support

Sharing

We share only what is needed for a trip: a passenger sees the assigned rider’s name, plate and location; a rider sees the passenger’s name, phone and pickup. Admins see documents and payment proofs to operate the service. We do not sell personal data.

Retention

Account and trip records are kept while your account is active and as required for safety and legal reasons in Rwanda. You may request deletion by contacting support.

Your choices

You can refuse location permission (some features will not work), update or delete uploaded documents in the app, and sign out at any time.
